5 YEARS!!!

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!! Today was 5 years with this woman who I love so much. You don't know how much of an inspiration she is to me. My fiancee and the mother of my son. Today was definitely a HUGE milestone!

Today was especially great because for the past few days we honestly been in heat with each other. The day started off, I made her breakfast while she was getting ready for work and we ate together. After watching the baby, then taking him to the baby sitter it was time for work myself. I got out of work and went to meet her outside of her job. She gave me her gift which was some clothing from the store Jimmy's which was pretty DOPE, and a very heart filled card. I presented her with her gift which was me paying for her to have a day at the spa on saturday. She's going to get her nails, feet, and hair done along with a facial and massage. She deserves it, and the woman works hard to be a good mother and wife to me.

We proceeded to go to this nice little Mexican restaurant that we always go to.(By the way, grandma was babysitting. lol) We ate and she got to watch her Novela(spanish sop opera) at the restaurant which she never wants to miss - lol. For those Hispanics with mother's and other close women in their family, they know what I'm talking about. lmao. Anyway, so she had her burrito, and I ordered some quesidillas with rice and beans which filed us up. Coconut Flan for dessert. We got to really have some along talk time where we joked and laughed which is hard to do nowaday's with our busy schedules. It really was refreshing! Especially the little something we got going that was hot and sweaty when we got back home- lol(sorry, I'm just being truthful)

But me and this woman have been through so much and I am so proud to call her my soon to be wife. Through the drama, and the best of times I will always love her. You don't know how good it feels to have someone who will always be your partner in crime. Who do you think "Love Song" was written about . . .

I actually like this new cartoon by nicktoons network because usually when they try and make new versions of old cartoons they SUCK!. Ok so at work I met this dope fresh artist named Robert Trujillo. He has been teaching for 6 years now in afterschool,workshop,and enrichment programs. He rep two crews, co founded "Trust Your Struggle Collective"-a group of artists/activists/educators from Cali who work in the US and internationally. And has also started Come Bien Books which is basically a self publishing site that works with illustrators and writers of color. Heres some more links to check out that will hopefully explain it better.

By the way, this is just a very small example of the man's work.

A trip to children's place

Today I copped some crocs for my son. Sale at children's place - 2 for 15 dollars.

I actually walked in because as I was walking by the store and saw a tee in the window that read ''son of super dad!'' . . . So I had to go in and cop. I was on my way to work.

I have to say, today was a very productive day teaching as well. My art class worked well continuing on thier freedom project, And my music class had a good outcome writing a new track today. Post some of thier work in a few weeks.

7 months and still growing this boy learns new things every day. And with each discovery I just have more and more fun with him. Ok, so I just met up with my boy Rome and copped his Roming Panda - Gummy Bear ring.

I first saw him with the piece about 2 months ago and wanted to arrange a meet up to cop from back then but never got to. Im not going to lie, I kind of slept on it but once I saw that more and more people started coppin, I had to get one before people said anything like I didnt peep it in the beggining.

Its also funny how I was putting my uncle Dj Kered on from Florida to it and I remember as a young boy going to the movies with him and his baby's moms to the movies and always asking for ''gummy bears''. Til' this day I can't see his baby's moms without her reminding me of that memory. Now when I see her I can say ''Ha! I finally got my gummy bears!''
