Robin Thicke

I love this guys music, and just his whole persona. He's extremely humble, and has a soulful presence to him. I feel he has music that generally enhances the quality of human life which is what I would like to do as well. The song he performs here entitled "Dream World" is something other than my own stuff that I bump regularly. Check out the interview/performance.

Loud Hispanics - lol.

Yesterday I went to a barbeque with wifey, my son, and her family upstate New York. It was cool. We chilled and there was a small park nearby that we took the baby to ride on the swings and go down the slide for the first time(by the way he turned 6 months the day the mixtape dropped). We ate, chilled, got a few drinks in my system if you know what I mean and I was feeling good last night. Problem is with some of my hispanic roots we do not know how to have a good time keeping it down. We took my son to one of the bedrooms as it approached night because we knew he was extremely tired and it was past his usual sleep time, but he could not knock out because he wanted to be nosey and find out what was going on outside with all that noise. . . Damn loud hispanics! lol. Nah, but he eventually fell out anyway and we were good as the party started to wind down.(o yea the baby helped us drive there. - joking. Just a funny pic we took in the car)



Adding on to the night, since I went with my hair curly down yesterday multiple drunken people at the gathering kept calling me "Elvis Crespo" who is a well-known Latin singer. Check out this song from him, and look at the pic - tell me if I look like him with my hair down. Cuz I think I look nothing like him. He's a great singer, but I am a completely different breed.

My personal Protest

Ok so let me fill you guys in for the weekend. My brother in law/close friend/the man who first got me taking my rap seriously at 10 years old - Joe Barz came through and we chilled on friday. He shows up to the crib with a bootleg copy of the "X-Men Origins:Wolverine" movie. In some senses it is cool that he got it knowing that his younger brother and myself are dying to see that thing, but on the other hand - I'M TIGHT THIS MOVIE GOT LEAKED OUT TO THE HOOD!

I'm not going to lie . . . I watched it even though at first I was like "F@ck that! I'm waiting until it comes out in theaters." And let me tell you - The movie is Fire!!! However it wasn't worth me not waiting and watching this leaked version because alot of the special effects had not been put into place and many things had not been edited as of yet. So let me fill you in on as to why I have the picture of the side of my face in this post. . . Starting as of yesterday I am not shaving until the release of the movie as my own personal protest. No one will really know and its not going to make much of a difference except maybe for me personally. So this is the clean shaven start. Keep posted to see where I end up in a few weeks.

Why did I wait until the 14th? Well lets look to exodus chapter 12 verses 1-6.
(The LORD said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt,

Bubbles . . .

Ok. I said I wouldn't post until the 14th but I had to post this! Just too funny!

So I get a call from this private number(mind you this was like 15 minutes ago.) Anyway, so I get the call and answer. Immediately I knew it was a prank call when I answered. The dude goes "Hello this is Bob from some company and we would like to give you bubbles and bubbles and bubbles and bubbles. . ." I was chilling with my boy LVG and I put the phone on speaker. We both looked at each other like "wtf!" and so when the guy finally stopped repeating the word bubbles. I mumbled something so that he could get confused. Suddenly it worked and he said "What?" I screamed "Dick!" into the phone and hung up.

Me and LVG started dying laughing but were cut short by the freaking guy calling again. I didn't know if I should answer . . . But I did. - and the guy goes - "and bubbles and bubbles and bubbles and bubbles . . ." V gets tight and says, "Yo fam - who are you?" The other guy says "this is what they called me in elementary school". Now me and V have this term called The Nation for all homosexual people. And if they are we say they are down with the nation. So I proceeded to ask Mr. Bubbles - lol If he was down with the Nation. Bubbles replies . . . "I'm down with the Hip Hop Nation" I reply, "I'm sorry but if you are a MALE named bubbles there is no possible way to be down with the Hip Hop Nation." Again he said "What?"

So Me ad LVG looked at each other and both yelled "DICK!!!" at the same time and hung up. -
He didn't call back.

I guess the moral of the story is. If you are going to prank call someone. Make sure you don't get played in return. - lol

Strengths and Weaknesses

So my boy went through something today with a female he has been chasing for like a year. . . In many situations she put him through some BS(excuse the french) that he should have forgotton about the young lady a long time ago. He has taken her side against all people even some of his closest friends who did not understand the situation. He literally has walked in on her having sex with other people more than one time. - And he still shows the girl nothing but love. I mean, the girl went psycho and has mutilated herself going into a psychiatric hospital. . . My boy has been the first one there by himself.

And you may think he's an idiot; but I respect the love in my boy's heart so much and I pray for that man everyday.

Today he had his first slip up on the girl and spazed on her . . . for trying to hurt herself! Put him in a bad situation cuz he put his hands on her, but honestly knowing the exact situation - its understandable. Fo you I have this quote. . . Things will blow over. You can do it my mans!
