Got out of work crazy early today. Swine Flu Break out in the school. Called all of the parents to come and get their kids. Walked across town to the apple store and get a computer to warn you all. Everyone stay out of the W. 59th st. area.

5 YEARS!!!

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!! Today was 5 years with this woman who I love so much. You don't know how much of an inspiration she is to me. My fiancee and the mother of my son. Today was definitely a HUGE milestone!

Today was especially great because for the past few days we honestly been in heat with each other. The day started off, I made her breakfast while she was getting ready for work and we ate together. After watching the baby, then taking him to the baby sitter it was time for work myself. I got out of work and went to meet her outside of her job. She gave me her gift which was some clothing from the store Jimmy's which was pretty DOPE, and a very heart filled card. I presented her with her gift which was me paying for her to have a day at the spa on saturday. She's going to get her nails, feet, and hair done along with a facial and massage. She deserves it, and the woman works hard to be a good mother and wife to me.

We proceeded to go to this nice little Mexican restaurant that we always go to.(By the way, grandma was babysitting. lol) We ate and she got to watch her Novela(spanish sop opera) at the restaurant which she never wants to miss - lol. For those Hispanics with mother's and other close women in their family, they know what I'm talking about. lmao. Anyway, so she had her burrito, and I ordered some quesidillas with rice and beans which filed us up. Coconut Flan for dessert. We got to really have some along talk time where we joked and laughed which is hard to do nowaday's with our busy schedules. It really was refreshing! Especially the little something we got going that was hot and sweaty when we got back home- lol(sorry, I'm just being truthful)

But me and this woman have been through so much and I am so proud to call her my soon to be wife. Through the drama, and the best of times I will always love her. You don't know how good it feels to have someone who will always be your partner in crime. Who do you think "Love Song" was written about . . .

Long night. About 2 crash.

Can't say much now, but it's 1:58 am and we're just getting home from the wedding reception. I know the baby's going to wake me up in about 3 or 4 hours. So I'm dead tired. I will tell you about the inspiration evoked by this day tommorow. . . Well - later on today to be exact.

Today is my aunt's wedding and I'm getting my hair done. You know its been almost a year since I have had my hair blown out and flat ironed like this. But my head feels great when I get this done.

So a new season has started and must I say. This first episode proves that this season will be promising. I actually like this new cartoon by nicktoons network because usually when they try and make new versions of old cartoons they SUCK!. Ok so at work I met this dope fresh artist named Robert Trujillo. He has been teaching for 6 years now in afterschool,workshop,and enrichment programs. He rep two crews, co founded "Trust Your Struggle Collective"-a group of artists/activists/educators from Cali who work in the US and internationally. And has also started Come Bien Books which is basically a self publishing site that works with illustrators and writers of color. Heres some more links to check out that will hopefully explain it better.

By the way, this is just a very small example of the man's work.
