Why do you make music Feel-X?

I love art. And I believe that each and every thought even a possibility when released into the cycle of the world can revolutionize it all. My music is a reflection of my life, my thoughts, beliefs, and ultimately me trying to make a difference. I have millions of ambitions in life, but music has always been my first love. Something about just sound in general is amazing to me. For example once a beat drops the emotions it can put you through without saying anything. You know instantly to get hype, or if you’re going to cry without any words atatched to it. Music doesn’t have a language or race and I really dig that about it. I use music as a method of empowerment. And well, I could go on forever - lol but pretty much yea music is my life. I love this Hip Hop thing because Hip Hop can blend with any other musical genre and still sound good.

Wolverine and the X-Men

This weeks episode of Wolverine and the X-men was ill!!! I know I posted before it dropped a while back and no lie I really have been watching this on Nickelodeon on fridays at 8:00 for the new episodes. I love X-Men! They actually didn't mess up this cartoon because usually when they do re-makes of the things from when I was young they mess it all up.

My first Yogurt

Yea I know, weird and surprising blog title. However, it is true. For those who don't know, I have a small case of lactose intolerance and excess dairy products make me sick. I CAN eat milk and cheese and stuff but not too much of it. But, since a child I have never been able to eat yogurt. Even the smell gave me nausea.

That was all until a few days ago at my job in the After-school program. Before I teach class we always have "Snack" time which is provided by the school that we work out of. Instructors like myself, and group leaders are allowed to eat the snack along with the kids. And it just so happens that one day they decide to give yogurt. This day I seemed to feel a little hungrier than usual so I decided, "Let me just try a yogurt again. . . Who Know's? It's been years since I have even attempted this." So I proceeded to grab a strawberry/banana yogurt from the cart. . . I opened it slowly . . . Gave a quick smell . . . "No Nausea?" Hmm. . . lets taks this a little further. I got a spork and scooped up a very small amount of yogurt to see if I could handle it. . . Tasted it . . . "Hold on. This stuff actually tastes GREAT!!!" So I ate the whole thing. Was still fascinated by this new acquired love of the taste, so I grabbed another one and ate it too!

So all in all, this was my first experience with yogurt that was successful. Lets see if next time I get so lucky.

We do not know what our new President will do now that he is in office, but I will definitely say that America as a majority is living with a great feeling of hope for the future that things will now start working towards getting extremely better.

The Preface features(part 1)

So a few weeks back I got an add from this dude from Harlem called CJ the Producer. Asks me to check out his tracks and the usual routine. A lot of times, I'm not going to lie but I dont take people seriously off of myspace. But went I went to this guy's page and saw the tracks he was producing I was amazed. This guy really has an ear for the beat making side of the game. Now I do a lot of my own production, but when I saw what this guy had to offer I had to hop on it. Obama meets Spiderman

Not sure if you guys heard about this yet, but Marvel has decided to put Barack Obama in a Spidey comic. lol. Now, I am a huge Obama supporter but I think this is getting out of hand. This is turning into a - Put Obama on it and get rich quick scheme. I heard about this a few weeks ago and just decided to blog about it because my grandmother who knows I'm into comics gives me a call and asks me if I can buy her the Obama/Spidey comic and mail it down to her in Florida. Now lets get this straight . . . MY GRANDMOTHER KNOWS ABOUT A SPIDEY COMIC BECAUSE OF OBAMA!!!! I'm sorry but WTF?!! This is really getting ridiculous!

The past few posts have been promoting a lot of other things. And just so people know what it is that I try to do here I want to explain why I do things. . .

Dane Cook : Rough around the edges

This was a great comedy central special. If you want, youtube it or even check your movie guide trying to catch it again. I love stand up comedy, and Dane Cook is one of the greats. Its pretty funny how I have seen him rise to where he is now.Here are s few random spots I would like to randomly pick out. If you saw it, then you would definitely know what I'm talking about. For me these are the funniest highlights . . . "Benson's Animal Farm" . . . "15 Fucking Cents" . . . "Petaphiles" . . . "Go ahead and Fuck the manekin!"

I just realized that in an earlier post the picture says that I will be dropping "The Preface" mix-tape in February of 2008, but that doesn't really make any sense. You probably figured that out by now, but just to clarify it will be released by February of '09 which is next month. Be prepared.
